Disney

We went to as Lauren called it - Dis-en-ey Worrrld at the end of September with Scott's Aunt Susan and had such a fun time (and took LOTS of pictures!)  So get comfortable :-)

We stayed in the Contemporary Resort and this was our amazing view from our room!  We could sit out on the balcony every night to watch the castle change colors and watch the fireworks show...Lauren LOVED it!
Making sweet sweet memories with Susan.
Lifting Baby Clara (her baby doll, not her cousin!!) up on her shoulders to see the fireworks
A couple days before we left I took Lauren over to Northpoint Mall.  We had a return to make at the Disney store and I let her pick out one thing while we were there.  It was a toss up between this and some princess shoes but the bag clearly won out!  She walked about 50 laps of the store with it while looking at everything else!  We also did a test run on the carousel at the mall to see how Lauren would like rides at Disney because she hasn't really ever riden any rides before and sometimes can be a little scared of stuff like that...next pictures show you what she thought about rides...
Yep, we had no need to worry!!!
She actually was pretty scared on the first ride we went on.  It was the It's A Small World ride and she was crying in my lap for the first half and then realized it was fun and loved them all after that!

And where you may ask was Will while we were all riding rides?  Winning the Trooper Baby of the Century Award in the stroller...
Oh but he did make sure we wouldn't forget he was on this vacation with us...
Shortly after this picture was taken he had a massive diaper blowout all over Scott!  Like the WORST diaper blowout I've ever been witness to ever!  Lovely side to a lovely breakfast!  Scott said the characters must have scared the you know what out of him!!!
Lauren wasn't fazed...
We did a Princess dinner one night at the Floridian...food was fabulous...actually all the food was fabulous!
Waiting on dinner with Daddy-O...
...and with Mamamamama (which he isn't saying yet but we're in training)  Lauren's teaching him...of course she has recently taken it upon herself to start calling me Mom...no more Mommy :-( ...so I don't know if I want him learning from her!
Staying close to Daddy and not too close to the evil step-sister!
Clearly not impressed by Prince Charming when compared to Prince Daddy!
One of my favorite pictures from the trip!!
Scott and I before a date at the restaurant at the top of our hotel...THANK YOU SUSAN!!!  Disney with munchkins is so fun, but with an extra set of hands and a date night or two - perfect!

On our last morning we had breakfast in Cinderella's castle.  Lauren was much more into getting close to the princesses!  I think Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty was her tied for her favorite.  She asked to see Sleeping Beauty's shoes, and I think she was a little disappointed that they were plain tan leather pumps...she was expecting some fancy sparkles!

Since our trip, whenever she sees Cinderella's castle at the beginning of a Disney show or movie she gets so excited and talks about how we saw the castle and how special it was :-)  We've also been playing a lot of Snow White/Mean Queen and 7 Dwarfs!  Definitely a trip of fun fun memories!!!
