Adventures in Potty Training

What's great about potty training?  Hmmm, well treats of course!  AND I havn't had to get dressed in 3 days!!  PJ tops and big girl underwear...that's been it for me...and if you know me, you know I love to stay in my pj's!  Mommy said we may venture out of the house tomorrow and I may have to actually get dressed...we'll see!!

We are 3 days into our potty training adventure, and Mommy is scared to type it but so far so good!  I've really only had 3 accidents so far...one in my highchair, one a very narrow miss from Gigi's shoes, and one poo poo on Zoe (Zoe from Sesame Street is on my big girl underwear)!  That that means only one little puddle on the floor which is about 800 puddles less than Mommy was imagining cleaning up!!!  And today was accident-free!!!  Mommy and Daddy are so so proud of me!

Quotes from the weekend:

- I'm dry!  Treats please?!  ...30 seconds later...  I'm dry!  Treats please?!  (Clearly I am motivated by m&m's!)

- Mommy/Daddy - "Lauren do you need to go pee pee?"

   Lauren- "No I'm fine"

- "I poo poo on Zoe.  Zoe sad, Zoe crying."

-"Not Mommy, just Katie" / "Not Mommy, just Gigi" / "Not Mommy, just Eilis"  - talking about who was going to take me to the potty.  Mommy didn't feel too left out though, she knew she'd have PLENTY of chances to take me! 

And as much as I get excited about my treats I don't like to eat them right away!  I like to savor them.  At one point I had 3 stashed in my teacup.

I also like to cook my treats in the kitchen and make sure they are not too hot!

Wish us luck for actually leaving the house this week...Mommy is still a little scared!!!
