After what feels like a forever long winter, we have had the most amazing teaser of spring this weekend (68 degrees today)! I was getting lunch ready after we got home from preschool on Thursday and asked Lauren to let Lucy outside, and she walked out on the deck and then said in amazement "it's not too cold outside!" The happiness on her face swinging on the swing and just looking up at the sky was priceless.
We've been trading off date nights with the Brookshires (and loving it!) and had Anna & Nate with us on Friday night. Scott looks like he's got it under control with 3, huh? (a little help from Dora the Explorer never hurts either!)

We had more fun on Sunday with the Leonards! Jack and Lauren took great naps after playing outside for a while and we just hung out on the deck enjoying the sunshine and some snacks, and then Scott cooked us up some wings on the Egg. We ended the evening with Lauren chasing Jack around the deck saying "I NEED hugs and kisses!" Goofball!
