In preparation for our annual baking day with Granny Eilis we had a trial run this week and it went GREAT! Although there are definitely challenges that come with age 2 1/2 I am really loving the independence that comes with it too! She can REALLY help...and just loves to, and is able to entertain herself with things that she needed constant help and supervision with before...coloring, playing with stickers, playing outside on the swingset or in the sandbox...it's just so fun to watch her figure things out (and have more than a 5 min attention span)!
