Understanding?

In the car today, we had just picked up Daddy to go have lunch -
Mama - "Well we didn't find any shoes for Lauren this morning"
Daddy - "Do you have big feet munchkin?!"
Lauren - adamently - "NO!"
Mama - "nope she's got bitty feet" (sidenote - they are bitty...still a size 3...it makes it kinda hard to find shoes since a lot of the ones this size are crib shoes and no good for running around outside in)
Daddy - "you got little feet Lauren?"
Lauren - "Am" (which is my word for yes...not sure where that came from!)

After lunch -
Daddy - "Lauren, are you going to go home and take a good nap?"
Lauren - "N0!"
Daddy - "Are you going to go home and run around your crib and yell?"
Lauren - "Am" ...maybe it means affirmative?!

Makes Mama wonder if I'm understanding more than I let on sometimes!!! haha! Luckily for Mama, although my intentions may have been good about the running around the crib, I'm snoozing away right now (I mean while I'm typing of course).
