July...

...was a big month!  Hence zero blogging!  But there are a couple things I want to write down so I don't forget!

-Big change #1 - Scott accepted a new job offer!  After 8 years (or a quarter of his life!  yikes!) at UPS, it was time for a change, and we are so proud of him!  I don't think either of us are naturally risk-takers so it was definitely a big decision to make a move but I think the timing was really perfect...which leads me to ....

-Big change #2 - Will is sleeping 12 hours!!!  Yippidee doo daaa day!  (which should give Scott a little more brain power to learn a new job...haha!)  We dropped the 10:30 dreamfeed right before he turned 4 months and he did great for almost a week.  Then we decided jump on a beach trip because Scott had time to use up before starting the new job, and Will was up EARLY most every day there, of course, becasue mommies don't really get vacations when they go on vacation with their little kids.  (That's not actually entirely true, because I and we all did have a really good time!)  Anyway, I digress!  And since we got him home he's been sleeping great, and we moved to a 4 hour schedule.  So all that time I was saying 12 weeks, 12 weeks, 12 weeks and he'll be sleeping, I should have been saying 4 months, 4 months, 4 months!  I guess I'll know for next time! (if there is one?  maybe?!)

-More on Will...we postponed his 4 month well check up so that we could go to the beach.  Sadly though we did have to bring him to Children's weekend before last for what turned out to be salmonella...POOR GUY!!  He had a high fever and was just not himself but thankfully he's all better now.  I'm highly proficient in changing blowout diapers now though (not that I felt the need for a refresher course!)  We did get his weight when we followed up at the pediatrician though - just under 15lbs at 4 1/2 months.  He is loving the exercasuer and jumperoo, he's rolling (infrequently still, which is just fine by me!), loves holding toys in his hands and grasping for things, and I think he might be teething because he's drooling nonstop...but who knows?!  And he LOVES his Daddy and big sister!  (I'm pretty darn sure he loves me too but he just lights up when he hears Scott talking and he sees him, and he loves all Lauren's crazy noises she makes to make him laugh!)  She is so great about running to check on him when he cries and will sit and talk and sing to him to keep him happy...so so sweet, especially when you see him just smiling back at her!

-Munchkin Lauren - is loving telling jokes!  example:
Lauren - "Where does fruit like to sleep?  HA. HA. HA. HA!!!"
 Get it?  Wait try again!
Lauren - "APRI-COT!!! HA HA HA HA!!!"
 It's pretty hilarious I promise!

That's all for July folks!

Oh, here's one of me and Lauren at the beach before our icecream date!
