We headed to Monroe to see Gigi and Pops on Christmas Eve and had such a good time! We continued the tradition of joining them for the candlelight Christmas Eve service at their church and it was beautiful as always. Lauren did great and made lots of friends all around us! My favorite was at one point she turned around and a lady in the pew behind us told her she was being very good, and she looked at me nodding her head and said "She said I'm being berry good!" ...so proud of herself!

| Santa granted Lauren's wish for makeup with some tasty Lip Smackers. They may have been her favorite thing she got! Mommy and Gigi had to keep reminding her that more is not always better when it comes to makeup!!! |

We heard about the snow everywhere all day on Christmas and it finally started falling at around 8:00 in Monroe. So fun to have a White Christmas!
We had planned on celebrating Christmas in Carrollton today, but unfortunately Lauren came down with a stomach bug on Christmas night so we had to postpone so as not to pass this one on to anyone else. She was so pitiful, after throwing up all over the bed at 3am she said "I will try not to do that again" :-( Such a little trooper. She's already feeling much better so we are just enjoying some good family time at home. Scott is off all week and we are loving it! |
