What I'm up to these days

Carrying LOTS of things around (including lovey a little more than Mama would prefer...)
Check out this trick I use for carrying things when all my hands are full!

See my baby doll behind me? We've become quite good friends! I love to bring food to baby and feed him/her (we're a little confused about baby's gender. Baby started out as a boy with a blue sailor outfit but with a hairdo most girls would be jealous of, and then last week I took all his clothes off and have been putting bows in his hair ever since....so I guess we'll see!!!) Either way baby loves to eat cookies, pizza and broccili with onion salt that I cook in my kitchen! Speaking of broccili I think baby's taste for it has rubbed off on me a little. This week at dinner I picked up a piece of broccili from my plate AND. PUT. IT. IN. MY. MOUTH!!!! Mama did a dance that made her look a little crazy! I'll have to work with her on her moves.

Oh and I'm still the hug monster! That's me with Hayden on New Years Day.

Peekaboo is also still a favorite!
Other things I'm up to that if you're not Mama, Daddy or a grandparent you may not be at all interested in!!!

-For the last month or so I've been putting words together more...started with "Bye Bye Daddy", "Bye bye Lucy" etc. I tend to get a little stumbly when I try to string too many words together which I've heard is pretty darn cute sounding!

-Last week? we think (hence the need to document!) I started saying "I love you Mommy", and "I love you Daddy" ...sounds like uvv you Mommy.

-Mommy finally has started letting me use a fork and spoon myself and I'm doing great...she was a little on the paranoid side about the mess I'd make of myself but she's getting over it and it's not quite as bad as she thought!!

-I've also been practicing going downstairs a bit more ...another one that Mommy had been putting off letting me learn!! I've got it down but they're not leaving me unattended quite yet.

-I still LOOOVE playing with all my friends and get so excited to see them. I talk about Annnnaaaa (Anna), and her mommy Yiz (Liz), Eeeen (Ian), Evvy (Evan), Ryan, Jack, and Papy (Patrick) all the time!

-Oh and one more Mama doesn't want to forget. I like to say the blessing before meals and then 2 or 3 more times during! I ask by holding out my hands and saying "Am-y" (Amen) and I have a fabulous scrunched up face that I use to close my eyes but also peek a little!
