Now this is the way to celebrate a birthday! Thanks Gigi & Pops!!!
Mama's been teaching me about how a birthday celebration is something you should try to milk to its full extent. She said you should aim for a month or at the very least a week of celebration, and that anyone who tells you it's just a 1-day affair is just a party pooper! It sounds like a pretty good plan to me!Three of my playgroup buddies and I are all turning 1 in the space of about 3 weeks, so we got the party started a couple weeks ago with a birthday playgroup!

My first taste of cake. Avery warned me that this stuff tastes kind of funny when all you've ever been allowed to eat is stuff like bananas and green beans!
And we're back to play time...yippee!
Then this weekend we headed to Monroe for a triple birthday celebration! We celebrated my Pops turning 60, my daddy turning 30 and me turning 1!!!

I took another try at cake and it is definitely growing on me!

It got messier but Mommy's camera battery died...check back next week for more birthday pictures!
