I Heart Valentines Day!

Mommy and I got Valentines weekend started right and baked Daddy some Valentines Day cookies on Friday. I was a big helper with the measuring cup and wooden spoon. I also contributed a lot of moral support by yelling while Mommy stirred the batter. Sometimes she thinks I'm just yelling for no reason but I really just wanted to be a participant! ..."AAHHH Keep up the good work"...."Don't miss that clump of flour there Mom" ... "Save the spoon for me to lick!!" ...she said maybe next year on that one :-)

Daddy came home with all sorts of treats! Flowers for me and Mommy, some cute new pj's for me (you can see them hanging in the background), and of course chocolates for Mommy!
Mommy and I were two happy girls! My daddy sure looks after us well!

Daddy got me my own Valentines Day card too :-)

That night Gigi and Pops came over to stay with me while Mommy and Daddy went out on a date. And then on Saturday I went to Granny Eilis's house for my first sleepover! We had such a good time that we didn't even think about taking pictures...no time for that when you're busy throwing blocks around the floor and chasing them!

When I came home on Sunday Daddy had another big surprise waiting on me. We were going on our first Valentines Day date together...to the zoo! He thought he should take charge on teaching me about my animals since my mommy tends to get a little confused identifying them...she says it may have been one of the skills she lost to pregnancy brain!

Here we are with the gorilla......and the panda bear!It was such a fun time, I was clapping my hands and smiling the whole time! We didn't get a picture but I think my favorites were the muir cats and petting the goats! I can't wait to go back...thanks for a great 1st date daddy!
